Ingenious and astute. Often believed to be gifted due to their keen intellect and ability to solve seemingly any type of problem with ease. A creative thinker. Ambitious and crafty. Able to manipulate their surroundings and others to their own advantage, but often chooses not to do so. Although wise and charismatic, they are rather naive and believe that ignorance is bliss, hence seeing their blindness as a gift instead of a nuisance. Lonely, and wishes to have more friends.

Early life
Beccaria was born to a widowed mother in a small town of Italy, who died shortly after their birth. They were thus taken care of by the hospital staff until the age of 5, where they were then adopted by the Cathedral in their town. Their childhood was peaceful, they played with the priests and nuns who took turns watching over them, joined the choir, and they were appointed different tutors to help them keep up with the other children. It became clear to the staff that their intelligence and creativity was well above their peers through their abilities to not only solve complicated problems, but also excel in a number of creative mediums.

Teenage years
By the time they were at the age where they were supposed to enter secondary education, the Cathedral staff had a dispute over whether they should remain and become a servant of God, or they should finally join the other children to attend school and become a proper part of the community. The majority agreed upon the latter, and so they were handed over to a young couple who were more than willing to officially adopt them. Their life changed as they started education in a public scenario, but their amicable disposition allowed them to smoothly transition to this new life and make friends with the community. They even joined a number of competitions and gained a reputation in their town for their achievements - while they remained humble throughout, they grew ambitious and attempted to get the attention of universities. At the young age of 16 they attracted the attention of an art school in England. They were initially conflicted over choosing between familiarity and new experiences, but eventually took the offer and moved away. Being in university at another country brought them a new, greater challenge, but they persevered until misfortune hit them. Within the same year, they suffered from an eye infection and landed in a car accident which took away their sight competely. Unable to easily return to classes, they were given a year off to stabilize themselves again. During this time of fear and hopelessness, what seemed to be light landed before them in the form of a simple man.

Chimera + Aftermath
The man was a motivational speaker of some sort, based around a certain type of religion that they were unfamiliar with, but the idea of religion still comforted them enough to approach the man in hopes of receiving some guidance. Young and still very naive at the time, they accepted the man's offer of joining him in a bigger group - a "family" - without second thought. Because of the group's communal style of living, they eased into their surroundings and made friends here and there. At some point they treated the leaders as their family, who also treated them the same in return. They were given comfort and a place to live while they sorted out their troubles, but this comfort was taken away from them shortly after they turned 18. The ugly truth of the group and its leader came out, and they were pulled away into "safety". They were not alone, however, as they were able to remain by the group medic's side, but the two had no choice but to move elsewhere, so they returned home in Italy.
Guardian
Beccaria's first family whom they miss dearly. The staff were what made them realize their talents and encouraged them to pursue their dreams of becoming an academic. They are not necessarily religious, but they appreciate the presence of faith in their heart that was placed down by the church.
"Family"
Beccaria didn't realize the true nature of the group they lived in until the end, but for the time that they were there they built a small family for themselves with the leaders, something they deeply cherished. They are still upset about its demise.
Family
One of the leaders and the medic of Chimera that Beccaria became closely acquainted with during their time there. After its fall, the two remained together both for safety and companionship.
