Kithood

Dewkit was born to Onetail and Beechwhisker with her sister Lavenderkit near the ends of the Rogue returns event. The young she-cat doesn't remember much of what happened as she was very young, but she does remember certain details. She remembers warriors mentioning Sleet and his rogues setting up an ambush, and that thats where her father went when he went away for a whole day and her mother was worried- therefore making Dewkit and Lavendarkit worried. She remembers cats mentioning the big bad cat Watcher was still alive, and that she and Sleet escaped the clans once again. She personally hoped those two never came back to the valley. She remembers Pinetail mentioning that StarClan gave Watcher extra lives, and that some cats were upset about this. Dewkit personally didn't get it- StarClan did it to save the medicine cats, so why were cats angry? Those were the only things she remembers though, that and the feeling of gratefulness that her father came back alive.

The next few moons were just fun times for Dewkit, as she played with her sister, her parents, and socialized in camp. They were fun times for the young she-cat, and she remembers them fondly. When her sister and her's eye colors started to show, her family was surprised when Dewkit started showing green eyes, but did not lose all of her blue color. Some cats made a few remarks about it, but because of her families fierce overprotectiveness of her, cats soon dropped it and it became a thing of the past.

Then greencough ravaged the clans.

Her mother, father and sister all fell ill with greencough, and Dewkit was alone in the nursery. The young she-cat was worried, especially when Ashflower went over to RavenClan. It meant worrying things for RavenClan, even Dewkit could see that at this time.

The plauge only got worse- the leaders of the clans got blackcough, from what Dewkit heard the other warriors talking about. She didn't have much to do anymore- her family was still sick and she was old enough that she didn't exactly need a 24/7 caretaker.

Things got so bad in SnakeClan that Mintberry, one of LynxClan's medicine cats, had to come by and help. Dewkit was grateful- with two medicine cats now helping the clan again, maybe her family can overcome this bought of sickness.

When Flintstar lost a life from blackcough, Dewkit could only pray.

And then one night, her family of four became a family of one. Her mother, father, and sister couldn't fight the sickness, and passed away to StarClan. Dewkit couldn't breath when Pinetail came and told her, she couldn't move. Her family, her stability, gone in a night.

Dewkit was given over to Vixenfire, and young queen that recently lost her only kit to the plague. During the remainder of the plague, Dewkit distanced her-self from the clan, and from Vixenfire. She didn't want to get too attached, because then she would get worried again and fear losing her just like she did her family.

Vixenfire let her, but not without installing a sense self within her. Dewkit learnt to trust her instincts, and trust her ideals- and for that, the young she-cat was grateful. Slowly, Dewkit started getting close to the clan again.

When Ashflower announced that he was moving over to RavenClan after Cricketleap stepped down, Dewkit was both angry and understanding. She was understanding, after all RavenClan needed a medicine cat- but she was worried that Pinetail wouldn't be able to handle all of SnakeClan. The death of her family scarred her, and she wants to be sure that the clan wouldn't be without help again.

Right near the end of Dewkit's kithood, rogues were being murdered left and right and no one knew why. Peppernose recieved a prophecy to help the rogues, which pushed SnakeClan and all the other clans decided to help. Dewkit was happy they were helping other cats in need- she had learnt that life was precious when her family had died, and to see her clanmates believe in the same philosphy encouraged Dewkit to believe in it even more. Though she did believe more of the clan should have helped out then the actual number of cats did- they were a clan made of many different cats, including former rogues!

Then it came out that there were traitors in SnakeClan, and they were the ones killing the rogues. They even launched an attack on their own clanmates- on SnakeClan's own shelter!

Dewkit was appaled at the actions of the traitors, at everything they did. After all, every cat's life means something, even those outside of the clan. She was glad when they left.

Apprenticehood

Dewkit finally became Dewpaw, and was assigned to (Insert Name Here). She is now ready to start her journey as an apprentice.

• She's patient, so she can deal with hyperactive cat easily.
• She's very bulky, so she can take a hit easily.
• She's quick on her feet, so she can catch prey easily.
• She's very earnest in what she does, so there would be no lying in anything she does.

Weaknesses

• She is absentminded.
• She really can't deal a strong hit.
• She can be too quiet, so even if she has a good idea she wont say it.
• She has a fear of diesease, so if there is another greencough outbreak she would likely freeze up and avoid the medicine den no matter what.

Sectoral Heterochromia
All kittens have blue eyes when they are first born, but when they are between 7-12 weeks old, melanin will begin to move to their irises to reveal the true color. Sectoral heterochromia is caused when varying levels of melanin concentration are present in the eye, causing two different colors at once. Dewpaw has blue and green eyes.
