Emmanuel is kind and calm, he is fair and wise, he knows what was, is and what will be, but does not share his knowledge with anyone. But at the same time, he is also very proud and conceited. He enjoys praise, so he constantly wants to receive it, although he does nothing for this. But he believes that the fact that he does not allow the destruction of the Earth is a great merit.

Backstory

Emmanuel is God himself. He created everything around, created the universe, the Sun, and then the Earth and the Moon. He created a lifeless stone that has gone through many changes over the centuries and turned into a flourishing object inhabited by amazing creatures. Emmanuel is proud that the Earth and people were able to develop in such a way that they respect and appreciate him, even if they do not always believe in his existence. 

One of the first intelligent creatures created by Emmanuel were not people, but Octavian. At first, he was just a bunch of energy, after which, over time, he began to acquire a more humanoid form. For some time, Octavian faithfully served his creator, but in the end he decided that he deserved more than being someone else's henchman. The energy was transformed into dark and destructive, so Emmanuel decided to make Octavian weaker and move away from him, creating some space for him in the other world, which eventually was Hell.

Louis

Emmanuel has a wide circle of acquaintances - these are different creatures, angels, demons, just essences and many other immortal entities. But the closest person to him is Louis. Louis was an ordinary man who lived in the 14th century and after death became Octavian's first personal henchman, taking the position of someone more serious than ordinary imps or sinners. Something in him interested Emmanuel, so he decided to start a friendship with Louis. Most of the time, Louis treated Emmanuel as a mentor, considered him to be someone unattainable, even though he considered him his friend. Louis still believes that he is not worthy to communicate with Emmanuel, because he himself is just rubbish.

Only when their friendship lasted several centuries it develop into something like a romantic relationship. This cannot be called an ordinary romance, because there is no more time for the two of them and they will always exist. Only Louis can understand the meaning of the word love in the sense we are accustomed to, since he was once a human. But for Emmanuel, he is also a special person, more special even than Octavian. 

They were in a romantic relationship for quite a long time by human standards, but Emmanuel decided to end this relationship, believing that there was something wrong. Although Louis didn't think so, he didn't impose himself. They had a tense relationship for a while after this, but at the time of the main story they are back on good terms. Emmanuel feels bad that his prejudices upset Louis and actually still loves him. As a result, they manage to start dating again and Emmanuel no longer worries that this is wrong.

FACTS:

-In his wallet there is a photo of Louis that he took on his birthday. In the photo, Louis is eating meat in a restaurant.

-He sincerely thinks the jokes in the newspapers are funny.

-On Mondays, he and Louis drink coffee at exactly eight in the morning, and Louis does this to be late for work on purpose.

-He has his own large greenhouse where he takes care of flowers.

-In his office hangs a picture painted by Louis. Louis doesn't really like this work, but he appreciates the attention.

-He knows how and loves to play the organ.

-He likes baroque interiors and prefers light colors such as white, light blue and yellow.

-Has matching sweaters with Louis.

-When Emmanuel is in Louis' office or room, the rest of the imps begin to imitate the sounds of sexual intercourse.
