personality snippet: Adalin is very nervous about talking to adults. She's got really bad anxiety, and she's a people pleaser, so she's really not equipped to do her job with adult simas. She ends up apologising profusely, leaving, and having to ask another reaper to do the job instead; normally by writing an awkward note, sliding it into their house, and sprinting away from them before they see her. She doesn't voluntarily take up jobs involving adults, but she also doesn't really know how to say no.

She's much better at interacting with children or younger teenagers.

Ada has a really good bedside manner with children, and children are much less scary so it's better for her, too. She makes sure that any dead youths she interacts with get plenty of time to process it before having to move on fully, and because she has fewer souls she needs to collect, she can afford to spend that time for each of them. Her looking sort of dragon-like also really helps her, because most children think she looks cool and friendly already without her having to say anything. She tends to be quite lenient with her wards time-wise, because children often need longer to process things, even though it annoys the other reapers in the area.

She also collects things to give to them to keep them calm, and brings them with her; this tends to be fidgety toys, plush toys, or other things like that. Sometimes if a child asks if she has a hoard because she's a dragon, she'll show them what she brought for them.
