Honeydrop can be shown very caring towards kits and the like, though she's also a strict mother, placing a lot of importancy on her nestlings to be polite and respectful, otherwise she doesn't mind dealing out punishments. Obedient kits are well-homed with her while others are more often scolded than praised.

Not that Honeydrop is one to regularly let nice words leave her mouth, praise and compliments are rare occurrences around her. She is sharp-tongued and critical, not shy of voicing her own opinion and never leaves a conversation without having the last say in it. Discussions or arguments are never easily won against her. Others have to earn her respect to actually be treated different as she deems most cats around her to be idiots and doesn't have much patience with them.

Despite that she is a stickler to the rules and will do whatever her duty requires of her. She's not afraid to confront even older or high-ranked cats if they break the rules or behave inappropriately. If you want to make friends with her, it'd be best to have manners and not slow her down on patrol. The only jokes leaving her mouth are sarcastic ones.
