Dylis was born in a large European forest within a town populated with centaurs and elves. Their fixation on nature and rebuilding rubbed off on her as she often helped out with the local garden her mother often took care of along with other members of the community. Her real interest came from hunting: Originally brought on a trip at a young age to help carry supplies, she ended up taking a bow from a scared kid and used to kill a deer in front of the group. At first, they were not too kind to her but over time they began to see her natural talents as a gift.

As she was getting closer to a young adult age, she was beginning to struggle to find her place within the town as more people began hunting and getting closer to her level of expertise; at the same time, she was feeling her body about to reach some kind of limit with her potential. To ease her mind, she traveled to a tavern, one that ended up being run by the Mercenary’s Guild. While there, she began bonding with some of the other mercenaries and hearing their stories, soon becoming encouraged to take up one of the jobs.

The job was for a bandit that got away with both robbery and murder, dead or alive. Dylis soon headed out and began tracking the man’s trail. In the dead of night, she was able to find the man’s small camp, a bonfire lighting the small area. As the robber was drinking, Dylis shot the man from miles away, without him realizing it until it was too late. Dylis soon brought his corpse back to the tavern and she was given the money. Most were not impressed with her story but others were amazed by her archery skills.

Now, she’s a common member of the Mercenary’s Guild. You’ll mostly find her on escorts, hunting, or enforcement jobs as she has felt the most comfortable with those types of jobs. She may come off as cold, but that’s only because she tends to be focused on her job and duties. Outside of them, she tends to be soft-spoken but stern, always welcoming a good conversation on her travels tho. But when she’s on the mission, her focus is squarely on one thing: Hitting the target.
