Mr. Rattel M. Bones

Rattel is an odd one, starting as a sona for music work gifted to me by my friend, later becoming a standalone OC in his own world.

Rattel (pronounced like the toy company mattel), our round skeleton with a death grip on his shovel, is a gravedigger that roams the Lazeyard, a gravesite for lazy spirits unwilling to move on without a nudge or two. He's an old, crochety type that keeps to himself, living in a nearby shack with no corporeal company. Rattel is rarely seen without the Lavalantern, a lantern-cross-lavalamp hybrid haunted with the presence of a gangly ghost. The Lavalantern Ghost is the man's best friend, and while Rattel may have plenty of spade-related names to call it sometimes, it is a quiet but looming comfort in the late night yardwork.

In his free time, Rattel has grown interested in the subject of cryptids causing a disturbance in the area, beginning research on the matter with an intent to find them.
