Paul Psofaude

This character belongs to my universe but was created and half owned by my best friend Tingls

Paul is an ever-tired military cartographer. He is rather absent-minded, clumsy and constantly sleepy.

Paul was born in a desert region in a shoemaker's family. He was the second child in the family and had an older sister, but one day she died under circumstances that Paul does not talk about. As a child, Paul attended a gymnasium, and at the end of school he went to the forest-steppe region to continue his studies. His progress at the university was not bad, but already at that time he had a habit of falling asleep in class.

In his last year, Paul was sent to practice in the library of the bishop Amadeus. He spent a lot of time there, studying various books and maps. Initially, Amadeus did not interfere in his education in any way, although he was supposed to help, but in the end he began to talk about some things that were not recorded in books. Paul was always interested in listening to Amadeus' stories, he seemed to him very smart, while Amadeus for a long time considered him a silly boy who just looked at the pictures in his books.

After finishing his studies at the university, Paul taught geography at school for some time. Then he realized that he did not really like to contact with children and he was afraid. Sometimes they were too noisy and even rude to him, so he tried to find another job. As a result, he had a chance to become a military cartographer. Neyton appreciated that Paul was well versed in the area even without maps and considered that he would be a good worker. As a result, Paul drinks more at work than he does business.

Also, after university, Paul continued to visit Amadeus, but they already had friendly relations, and soon romantic ones. They don't see each other very often, as Paul has been spending a lot of time at work lately, but they always keep in touch. Amadeus sometimes calls Paul when he's sure he might get into trouble to warn him.

The military values Paul very much and protect him, since he cannot protect himself. He doesn't even carry too heavy backpacks. Everyone also knows about his addiction to alcohol and many do not approve of this, including Neyton. But they do not have another cartographer, and Paul, even despite this, can still remain able-bodied.
