Vasim Al-Khalifah

A carefree thrill-seeker and daring joyrider born to the city of Tengri, within the Naxsharwa desert. Vasim enjoys the simple things - public baths, hot samsas, and doing odd-jobs for snacks.

His life is mostly spent on the road with the rest of her Dune-rider crew, traveling ahead to secure passage as their city moves for the ancient service of rainmaking. Her ride is an ibex-like bike named 'Shaitan', carrying him across the sands as he investigates other strange incidents: the latest involving a missing Arcatect named 'Noor'.

NOTE: Killed in a freak explosion at the heart of Tengri. Noor's soul, burnt away to save her sister's life, merges with Vasim's as his former patron.
