About
Tall, soft spoken, and anxious Yadoris was originally a traveler in search of not only freedom and a sense of autonomy from the restrictive upbringing, but also in search a long lost "friend".
Through her travels she became part of a circus troupe for a bit where she met her mentor who help her hone her gift of divination prior to her venturing off on her own.
Through a chance meeting followed by a whirlwind of events, Dori finds herself bound by a sense of duty to help solve the phenomenon that's plaguing the continent of Maka where it's inhabitants are falling into a slumber they can't be roused from.
"The past is in the past, the future however is never set in stone."
Combat
She is a glass canon. Built to be able to sling spells and deal some heavy damage, however she is a wizard and will literally die from 1d4 hurt feelings LMAO
Divination
Being connected to the spiritual realm and being what essentially is a spirit box for those not on the material plane can be tiring. Dori is able to connect with different spirits who offer guidance(?) to some questions she asks.
Phylactery
A necklace gifted to her by her now patron, Lilith the archdevil of the 9th layer of hell, after making her first deal with the devil. It's her phylactery which holds a fragment of her scattered soul. Dori has adorned this necklace during a trying time when she needed Lilith's help. It's granted her some of Lilith's magic as well as becoming a vessle for her.

Socially awkward, shy, and overtly anxious are the three main things that stick out about Dori. Despite this though, she's got a heart of gold and only the purest intentions. Kindness is something she shows to anyone and everyone, even those who aren't kind to her. A bit of a pushover she's trying her best to grow a backbone.

Relationships

Patchouli and Dori met when the gang picked Patchouli up via a recommendation from a contact in Cleys. The two of them intially bonded over both being purple tieflings and both of them having interest in spirits, occult, and other items of the like. The two have become rather close friends throughout their journey and have been through quite a lot together. Currently Patchouli is the only member of the original group of four that is left.
- "Employee" / Acquaintance - Partymates
Ruth met the gang after being passed out on the mountain path up to Kuzre due to altitude sickness. He's been nothing but kind to the group and Dori appreciates that. He was recently "hired" onto the team as Patchouli had taken a liking to him and wanted to secure him a spot within their group and by drawing up a contract and offering him compensation, and she figured that'd be the best way. Dori looks forward to getting to know Ruth better but so far he's 1 of 2 people in the group who doesn't berate her or makes backhanded comments at her. Granted they've had their awkward conversations where tone goes over her head, they're working through that and she doesn't want there to be a sense of a power dynamic between the two even though he is techically a hired hand.

The gang acquired Groop while traveling and he's been a bit of an oddball since. Clinging to Patchouli he acts more like a dog than anything. Dori currently would like to get to know Groop better and have more interactions with him since they've agreed to help him in his hunt for his 'shiny'. They had a cute moment where Groop wanted to have Dori's phylactery so to compromise Dori gave him a necklace of hers so he had his own.
- Party Mates
Picking up our little war criminal in his home town of Cleys he's been cold and harsh to Dori since the get go. He dislikes her lack of backbone and how much of a pushover she is. She however wishes to make some headway with him and build a relationship since they've been traveling together for as long as they have. She admires his intelligence and drive to continuously move forward regardless. She tries to be kind to him but it's rarely reciprocated and when it is it's usually done in a backhanded manner LOL.
- Friend - Former Partymate
Road was one of the first people Dori had met alongside Rorik and started their adventure together. While she wanted to get to know Road she felt as though she constantly teetered on the line with them. They were aloof, slippery, and sometimes even seemed short with her most likely due to her inability to acknowledge the consequences of her actions/problems. However Dori considered them a friend nonetheless. Even though they may not have been the closest, Road and her made the tough decision that moment in the Abyss that if only one of them could make it back, it'd be Dori. There was an unspoken understanding that Dori would do anything and everything to get Road's soul back to their body. She's currently in pursuit of repaying that debt as it's the least she can do, but things have gotten...complicated.
- Friend - Former Partymate
The other person Dori was to first meet on this whirlwind adventure. He's the cause of all her psychic damage alongside G'yael. Dori thinks he's got a good heart, but unfortunately isn't the best or most...eloquent at expressing his intentions. She wishes he'd shape up and think a bit before he speaks given how much trouble he's gotten them into along with just how much is words effect her. You can only be told your brain is small/you're stupid/compared to our other wizard now barbarian so many times before they start to really sink in. However for now he's a leaf man in the grasp of King Titania hopefully learning a lesson.
