General information
Note that this is a work in progress! Details may change!
A serial killer, self employed (unqualified) researcher/scientist mostly focusing on death. She works as a janitor to pay rent for her remote home. For her 'research' she carefully handpicks her victims, and after a prolonged period of long distance studying of mannerisms and such, performs tests on them in her selfmade basement lab-area with stolen equipment she took from her job and former college after brutally murdering them for her own satisfaction. Before actually going through with murder, she used to perform illegal treatment on other people as part of her earlier human experiments in exchange for money and otherwise unavailable substances necessary for her experiments. When she was younger, she used to do smaller scale experiments on herself and tiny animals she found near her home, leaving her with scars on several different parts of her body, most notably her legs. She has a very morbid sense of humor, finding joy in some of the most grim things. Besides these things, she also takes great interest in poetry (such as haiku) and philosphy in general. She can talk for hours about many controversial topics and even start entire debates over them.
Outfit + Trivia
- Her right earring is one of her own wisdom teeth. She has been wearing it ever since getting it pulled. The left one is a replica eyeball.
- In simplified drawings her glasses can be fogged up and white. It's entirely optional though!
- She doesn't have a standard outfit, anything that fits her vibe goes. There's a ton of inspo on her OUTFITS tab and pinterest board, but it's not limited to that! go ham! just remember she was born in 1961! she's like a grandma.
- (CW) Pinterest board: https://pin.it/2gy83Zv - INCLUDES: clothes/items/environment/overall fitting images for her character. some of them are weird as hell so if you don't wanna see stuff like blood/corpse-like figures/drawings of organs and gorey stuff i recommend you don't click it!

Early life
Lorelai wasn't really anything special when she was younger. She was quite a normal, happy kid, but she wouldn't really talk often and barely experienced any heavy emotions. This was the case until she was about 5 or 6 years old, when she started thinking and keeping to herself more. As a kid, Lorelai was already fascinated by the anatomy of small animals like mice and birds. She enjoyed learning about them by dissecting them and looking at their bones and insides, which she thought were beautiful and interesting. Her relationship with her family was decent enough, not too special besides the fact that both of them worked busy jobs and weren't always as emotionally available as was expected of a parent. She didn't have any siblings or close friends growing up, and had a lonely childhood without much attention, clinging onto any scraps of attention she did get. All the way from grade school through highschool she kept up dissecting animals, gradually moving up in size as her confidence and interest grew. When it eventually got boring for her, she was convinced she was going to one day go for a bigger scaled experiment, this time on a human. She spent her days at home carefully planning out what she was going to execute; vivid, gory fantasies of what she would love to do to someone. Once graduated from highschool, she enrolled in college with plans to become a full time scientist to further fuel her obsession with the line between life and death, and the beauty of it. She never stopped catching and dissecting these animals, with the only difference being that she would now do it in her dorm room occasionally, using the supplies she took from her classes. Usually she would flush the remains down the toilet, but other times she would attempt to preserve them in jars with minimal knowledge, and put them on the windowsill as decor. Over time, the sun and chemicals caused the preserved animal parts to rot, leaving the room gassed up with a strong stench, alarming her neighbors. When her room got searched for the origin of the smell, they discovered a bunch of stolen equipment and, ofcourse, the animal remains, at which she was immediately expelled from her college.
Love/Mania
With no chance at continuing her college career, she ended up getting a full-time job as a janitor while living with her parents for the time being until she was able to provide for herself again. Once back on her feet, now with her own house, she immediately continued planning out what she had already been doing for years at this point, now with the freedom to execute anything she still wanted to, or so she thought. She met a girl she took a liking to, who seemed like the perfect first victim. She was nice, charming and accepting. This girl, ???, made her feel normal for the first time in pretty much her entire life. Usually Lorelai doesn't experience real emotions very clearly, which has always made her think of herself as weird and disgusting, but this girl, she made her feel something somewhere. She thought that maybe, maybe she wasn't actually crazy and psychopathic, maybe she was just a normal girl after all. For a while they got along fine, spent lots of time at Lorelai's house before eventually moving in since ???'s living situation was far from ideal. The house was located in quite a small neighborhood, with not much traffic passing by her street. She did not yet own a car, and traveled by bus most of the time to get to places. Lorelai, being unorganized left her stuff everywhere around the house, eventually causing ??? to stumble upon some of the old photo's she took of het past experiments, as well as some poems and notes about her fantasies. Obviously shocking ???, she took this to Lorelai which caused her to snap at ???, making her her first victim as was originally her plan, leaving Lorelai even emptier than before.
Crimes
DETAILS TBA, haven't thought about the actual crimes whatsoever.
Aftermath
After she was caught as massive investigation started. Her house was raided and all sorts of leads started getting connected to ongoing missing persons cases from the past few years with what they found inside. The case was widely discussed and even partly televised, leading to quite a bit of uproar from the public. This trial was pretty exciting for Lorelai. She'd fantasized about how she was going to go about this many times before, as she knew it was inevitable. She was very calm, collected, calculated and very sure of herself the entire time. There were times she came off as incredicly cold, stoic and arrogant, making snide sarcastic remarks when asked questions, with a grin of superiority on her face, even though she knew it was quite the opposite. People were obviously disgusted, horrified about the gruesome things she did, but on the other side they were happy this scum was going behind bars for who knows how long. Some people wished for her to be executed like an animal, others wished for lifelong imprisonment. Lorelai ended up getting the latter after a long trial, but she herself didn't really see as much issue with her sentencing as would be expected of the average person, more like a blessing in disguise. Being able to just live in prison rent free for the rest of her days, no more janitor chores, spending her days thinking and writing. She planned on writing a manifesto. A manifesto describing her views of the world, telling how she sees and experiences it. For one, she wanted to explain what drove her to do these things, what the messed up mind of a serial killer was like, and how even someone whose mind is damaged past the point of what's considered normal, can still see their perspective as reasonable and rational. She also wanted to open up about how she sees herself in particular, about how she's 'an underdog, a person demonized by society, whose sole wish is to live their life freely without being considered "evil" by the sheep who have no real understanding of the world or how the mind works.' Besides writing, she was also planning on reading up on other crimes. She had no regrets. None, aside from getting caught. Her fellow inmates hated her guts, but despite that, she was doing perfectly fine in there. She didn't really want to talk to people in the first place. She was at least glad she didn't get the death penalty, which is quite hypocritical.
