To find a person, that with a greater heart than Arthurs would be quite a task. Ever since the infection began eliminating the biggest part of society, Arthur promised himself to offer his help to anyone in need and protect those around him no matter what. So when his little sister got infected, Arthurs heart break to pieces. Everyone knew, that there was no way of curing the illness. Leaving his sister behind to safe himself and his familie was something, Arthur couldn't accept. And no matter how much his sister begged him to leave and stop hoping for her to recover, he stayed with her. He stayed and when she stopped breathing she layed in his arms and he didn't stop comforting her for a second.
His family had left him to get away from the potenial threat of getting infected. But Arthur seemed to be immune to the virus and even after staying with his sister in her last days he remained uninfected. At least regarding his physical health. Mentally it took him a lot of time to handle the loss. He was on his own now and spend years wandering around, surviving by taking commissions that included helping those affected by the infection or fighting against the monsters, that the virus created.
That was until one day he wandered through a lost city and by walking through an old hospital he met a girl, trying to jump out of the window. After Arthur stopped her from that, he got to know Misha. The girl that fell from the sky into an unknown world. Or at least thats what she told him...

- Arthur is working for the Centrum. An organisation founded shortly after the infection became a problem for the world. The Centrum offers a place to live for those who aren't infected yet. Mainly for rich and influential people that were able to afford getting a place there.
- His work includes especially exploration and fighting. Arthur is supposed to get outside the Centrum to look for any remaining civilisations, to take care, that monsters aren't getting to close to the Centrum and to obtain certain materials and ingredients, that can not be found inside the walls of the city.
- A close friend of Arthur is Jayce, a computer nerd that doesn't get his hand dirty like Arthur but is leading the research done in the labs and is the head of the security system. They get along really well, even though they are completely opposite types of people. Jayce spends his time inside, barely sleeps and is always tired. Meanwhile is Arthur always searching for the next adventure, sleeps under the stars and is a really energetic person.
- After Arthur met Misha they travelled together for some time until Misha decided to stay with him and to help him with his work as a thank you for his training, his help and everything else he did for her.
- Arthur really likes Misha. Even after everything shes been through, theres still a light in her heart that flickers nonetheless. She is very imaginative and dreamful, what reminds Arthur at his sister. It makes it really easy for him to feel happy around her.
