Mizuke Unabara (海原 水毛 Unabara Mizuke) is a student at U.A. training to become a pro hero.

Appearance

Mizuke is a tall girl with a thin build, fair skin, and blue eyes. Her hair is long and falls down to her lower back, and her bangs are cut right above her eyes. She tends to change her hairstyle fairly regularly, but this is the one she's seen with most often. She wears the standard winter/summer U.A. uniform depending on the season with navy blue socks and white slip-on dress shoes.

Her hero costume consists of a sleeveless white and navy blue wetsuit with teal accents, matching gloves and shoes, and a yellow belt with two pouches attached to it. She protects her eyes with a pair of white goggles with blue-tinted lenses.

Quirk and Abilities

Water Hair (水の髪 Mizu no Kami): Mizuke's hair is made entirely of water, which she can extend upto 3 meters away from her to attack with.

Her body is designed to handle prolonged moisture, so her skin won't become pruned no matter how long she's exposed to water.

She's very weak to ice, fire, and electric Quirks. Ice and fire Quirks can freeze or boil her hair, causing frostbite or burns to her scalp or other skin that it might touch. Frozen hair will also weigh her down, and boiled hair will evaporate, leaving her defenseless. Water carries current very well, so electric Quirks can lead to her being severely electrocuted.

Moves

Water Whip (水の鞭 Mizu no Muchi): Mizuke extends out a thing stream of water and whips it around with extreme force. When her hair is made of salt water, the abrasiveness of it can potentially cut through even steel.

Waterfall (滝 Taki): Mizuke envelops someone in her hair. Can be used to neutralize enemies or transport those in need of saving.

Downpour (土砂降り Doshaburi): Mizuke extends her hair into the sky, then detaches the raised portion from her head, allowing it to rain down over the battlefield. Can be used to distract, or disable those with Quirks that are weak to water.

Equipment

School Uniform: Mizuke's school uniform (and gym uniform) is made of waterproof fabric so that it doesn't become soaked throughout the day.

Hero Costume: Mizuke's costume is designed to keep her dry and comfortable during battle so that she can perform at her most efficient.

• Mizuke Suit: A special wetsuit that repels all water so that she doesn't have to run around in wet clothes, therefore reducing discomfort.
• Mizuke Shoes: Slip-proof shoes that allow for freedom of movement on even slick surfaces.
• Mizuke Goggles: Fog-proof goggles that keep water out of her eyes so that her vision is never impaired.
