Vondila Morson was born into a blue-collar family with her older twin sister Salem in the city of Seaford. Their parents were hard workers and did everything they could to support their children and save for them to go to college when they were young adults. The twins were left alone a lot due to their parents working, so Vondila took it upon herself to take care of her twin. When they became of school age, was when it was noticed that Vondila was the troublemaker of the pair and would drag her sister along with her. She was well known for causing problems for teachers and students alike. Though she never wanted anyone to get hurt. It was for fun. But as Vondila got older her 'jokes' turned to tricks, magic tricks. She spent more time practising magic tricks then school. Though her parents were upset that she didn't do well in school but her sister loved the tricks. They were less likely to hurt people than the 'jokes' she once played. When the twins were in grade 7 they both started to develop Vitilgo (loss of pigment in the skin) for Vondila is started on her hand and was mostly hard to notice, well her sister developed it on her face. Her sister quickly became a target of bullying. This caused Vondila to get into fights with others to keep her sister safe. This caused heartache for their parents.

When Vondila was thirteen her mother fell ill and soon passed leaving the twins with one parent. Their father did everything he could to take care of his children but soon the medical debt had been taken on from their mother's illness left them with almost nothing. So he sent the twins to Marietta Hope to spend a year with their great aunt Salem. The twins weren’t really sure about it at first but soon grew to love their grant (great aunt) Salem. Less then a month into moving Salem was fed up with both her and her grant both responding that she chose to go by the short form of Sae and with that Vondila chose to be called Von from then on. After living in Marietta Hope for four months they stopped hearing from their father and it soon turned out that he had gone missing. So grant Salem took in the twins permanently being their last living relative.

Soon after Vondila started working more in grant Salem’s store as well practing her magic trick. She didn’t join any one club officially just kinda raomed around the high school, she was seens a lot though were Salem was. When it was time to go to college Vondila chose to not go. She didn’t like school and wanted to entertain more then anything. When Salem’s acceptance letter came in she knew it would be a great step for her twin. The letter arrived on the anniversary of the twin’s moving to Marietta Hope. It took hours of poking from her to get Sae to look up from her projects long enough to open the letter. Von was excited to see what answer her twin got and when it said she was accepted Von knew she needed to drag her twin out to celebrate and make the day mean something good. After hours of having fun and having taken part in some adult drinks they relaxed at the edge of the forest and lake. As they looked to the stars they met Lilac. They were confused by the purple raven looking at the shiny bracelet Sae was wearing so she offered it to the creature. Lilac then showed her real form in excitement to have the shiny bracelet and a friend. It wasn’t till the next day did Lilac tell the twins about the battles in the forest and that she wanted to have Sae help her. Von was extremely hesitant to let Sae go and do something like this but soon accepted it was up to her twin. Von will do anything to support her twin.
