Vanilla is the big brother. He is very social and independent, having lots of friends and always going off to play and wander around alone while Cream is studying or practicing his piano, yet he is also mature for his age due to having a larger than average role in caring for his brother. He is always trying to convince Cream to be more socially active, but never succeeds. Despite their differences though, Vanilla and Cream are very close, and one of their favorite games is for Vani to sing made up songs to the music Cream plays on his piano.

He is a little jealous of his brothers success, since he's younger than him, but he would never tell Cream that.
