Rhys died as part of a squadron in the long past. His bow was broken and he tried to fight with a sword, but he wasn't very good, so he lost. In a way, he welcomed this because he was a coward and wanted to run away from war (part of the reason he became an archer was to avoid the main brunt of attacks).
Reborn into the Rebelles Faction, he met Aria and eventually fell for her steadfast decisiveness, kindness, and leadership.
He follows orders well, except when he's angry or very worried about Aria. He can lose his cool really easily. He is protective of Aria, but he knows she can hold her ground. Still though, he worries.
He likes to sing songs for her on guitar, though he kind of does it twangily and off tune. He also likes to cook, although he's mediocre at it because he learned from army camp.
Rhys doesn't really think about the future so much, but he would like to make Aria's dream of peace come true. His dream is to marry Aria and he someday wants to have lots of cute kids and own a flower shop.
