John is a reserved boy, who tends to keep his friends close and strangers... Far away. He's not too sociable and doesn't tend to reach out to new people, but he's not an unkind individual either. He tends to overthink situations, studying potential outcomes, reactions, and potential. When he becomes set upon something, he pursues it with unending bravery, determination, and hardwork. He holds a fondness for muggles, but rarely verbalizes it, as he had to grow up with muggle schooling. His parents had feared him to be a squib.

At the tail-end of his second-year, John feels reassured going into summer. Those he considers friends are close, and those he does not are people he wouldn't call unfriendly. His hobbies include flying, and he plays on the Gryffindor team as a Seeker. He journals, and he occassionally engages in what could be considered the common shenanigans a young boy would engage in, such as playing Exploding Snaps or joking around with his friends. He's quite proud of his academics, although he's begun to realize that no matter how well he does in schooling his parents aren't satisfied.

In terms of goals, he's still working his hardest on socializing, maintaing his position in quidditch, and succeeding in class. He has a younger sister named Allista.
