Dreaming of more

Sirhan grew up with her twin sister Adair. The two of them were born in fishman island due to being mermaids, and like many seafolk down in fishman island they dreamed of exploring the land. Unfortunately they knew that it was unsafe for them, even from a young age. The two of them would occasionally sneak to the surface to see the beautiful lights of the saobody archipelago amusement park and imagine what life would be like if they could visit safely. The two of them made a deal, that once they reached the age of thirty and gained their legs they would travel the world together, exploring every island that they could.

As they grew up their dream only grew stronger, and they started to go to the surface more and more, despite the dangers. When the two of them turned twelve they got discovered on one of their visits to the surface. As mermaids, they were highly valued, and thus kidnapped. Although rather than being brought to the saobody auction house as was typical, the pirates that found them took them for their own ship.

On display

Sirhan and Adair were seperated. Adair was considered more beautiful, so she went with the captain, while Sirhan went with the navigator of the crew. She was put into what was basically a fish tank, a large display in the navigators office. This tank is where she would remain for the next eighteen years of her life. She never saw her sister again, only getting to see the crew of the pirates who had kidnapped them and most often the navigator. They would not tell her about her sister no matter how many times she asked. Sirhan absolutely hated it, she would try to escape at literally any opportunity but unfortunately was never able to. The only silver lining being that since she was in the navigators office she learned how to navigate from watching him.

Sirhan only managed to escape when she turned thirty and gained her legs. Her new mobility allowed her to get out of the tank and basically attack the shit out of everyone. She tore down the crew with basically only her rage and feral energy. She searched the entire ship but was unable to find her sister, only to discover from demanding answers from a crew member that Adair had been taken off the ship many years ago. Sirhan had no idea where she was taken to or whether she ever managed to escape. After Sirhan was done destroying the pirate crew she finally took her leave and swam to the nearest island, having no idea where she was.

Flower Pirates

Sirhan is the second most recent member to join the Flower Pirates. She spent the six years since escaping exploring on her own, wanting to be faithful to her childhood dream despite never being able to find her sister. She explored a lot of the east blue sea, since that is the sea she escaped into. She got herself a bunch of tattoos, she just thinks they look cool, and she wanted her body to be for herself rather than the observing of others.

During one of her island explorations, Sirhan ran into the Flower Pirates. Flores was immediately interested in the flower tattoo on her neck, declaring it fate that she should join since they're called the Flower Pirates and Rea, who also has a flower tattoo, just joined before her. Sirhan took a long time to trust the Flower Pirates due to her past. Sirhan is more of the mind that the people who kidnapped her were evil, pirates or not, so she doesn't assume all pirates are equally as evil. The Flower Pirates and especially Flores matched her wild energy, and when she learned of Flores' dream to explore every island to study their plantlife, she realized that their dreams are compatiable and she could help them while sticking to her own goal.

Sirhan officially became their navigator after traveling with them for a few weeks, although for the first while she refused to sleep on their ship, she would literally wrap her tail around a rope and allow herself to be dragged in the water. Very inconvenient and strange but she was scared to be on their ship. After they gained her trust more she moved onto the ship officially, and even helped them convince Pyra to join. She values her crew a lot and is especially close with Flores, their energy constantly bouncing off of each other.

• the name Sirhan is just a mix of "siren" and "hana"
• the name Ondine means "little wave"
• Her laugh sounds akin to hissing and creeps people out
• she is the resident save-devil-fruit-users person when they get knocked into the water since she is, obviously, the best swimmer
• she would never eat a devil fruit and had no idea they existed until meeting the Flower Pirates
• once she's been with them long enough Sirhan will get tattoos representing her crew :)
