About
One of Supernova's main antagonists.

A bioengineer obsessed with mending the weaknesses of Korebred (which is essentially a superpowered human) bodies. Specifically, reversing Korebreds' many genetic malfunction caused by generations of poisoning.

Mingjué has spent her career developing necessary medicines and vaccines that utilize her incredibly resilient cells, gifted to her by her own Korebred powers. While she has advanced the field of medicine by leaps and has saved countless lives, her motives aren't entirely pure. Her abilities allow her to hijack and rewrite the DNA of whoever hosts her indestructible "Black Sheep" cells, so there is no one in the city of Meskor who isn't a possible host for Mingjué. Born with a heart condition that may prove fatal at any moment, Mingjué is often forced to move bodies. However, since her condition is genetic and she takes bodies by rewriting their DNA, she's only resetting the timer. As long as she can evade death, she's content.

Min's research leads to her to venture outside of Meskor's shell, and though this is typically illegal in every sense of the word, Meskor's mayor will make an exception as long as Min is accompanied by Xane. One thing leads to another, and these ventures out of city bounds lead to a huge rebellion. During this time, Min becomes a government assassin known as Black Sheep, using her abilities to annihilate all those who lead the charge for freedom from Meskor's walls. She knows more than anyone that the world outside the walls would not give people the freedom they think it would.

Personality
Though Mingjué appears intimidating and no-nonsense, she's quite easygoing and sociable... At least on the surface.

She enjoys meeting new people and goes through life at her own pace—at breakneck speed—almost never seeming to rest. She can't afford to rest.

Silence makes her uneasy, so she's always listening to music or talking/singing to herself. Similarly, being alone unnerves her for many reasons, so she will seek the company of few friends or many strangers; if she doesn't need to be holed up in her lab, she's in a cafe. Despite her sociable nature, Mingjué can't tolerate working with others. A blunt perfectionist, she won't shy away from telling others how they don't meet her standards. She's only found one other person to be competent enough to work with.

Mingjué is prone to harbouring grudges, but she's also quite reasonable and won't jump straight to acting out of spite; you might be able to get your name taken off of her list of bodies to hijack.

She lives life at such a restless pace and is often strung very tightly. She can be moody, snappish, and will cut people out of her life as quickly as she lets them into it.

However, despite wishing that days were longer, she is quite generous with her time. If she deems someone is deserving, she will spend countless hours developing solutions for someone's ailments or issues, sometimes free of charge. Even though she will simply wave you off, a "thank you" goes a long way with her.

↪ Xane 
When Xane died, Mingjué developed many of his replacement organs and helped revive him. Mingjué sees him as her quiet and somewhat strange cyborg son, and he's one of the few that she would actually consider embracing death for.

↪ Chroma
Min's labmate. They feed off each other's gremlin energy very well and go out dancing together. He is Min's closest and possibly only true friend.

↪ Phantasm 
Though Min isn't that close to them, they are her labmate's, Chroma's, little buddies. They recognize her as Black Sheep later on.
