Life before getting abducted was is a bit of a blur for Saoirse. She has vague memories of her loved ones and who she was before getting taken into Arcadia, yet that one day always felt the freshest to her. She remembers how tired she had been from work as she took the last train back. She was alone, and it felt unsettling and eerie. Home was just one station away... And as the train entered a tunnel, it left without her in it.

As the world beyond the hedge went on without her, Saoirse had taken on the role as some 'young' fae's plaything. A doll she had named Thistle. The years pass, and time was stagnant in what felt like an eternal playtime. Eventually, the fae tired of her presence, and Thistle found herself back at the Hedge, scared and alone.

It's unknown just how much time she had spent in the Hedge. How many time loops and warps she had gone through in it, how many horrors she had witnessed while cowering away in some corner of the woods. With going home as her goal, she made it back. Somehow. She was outside... home. It all looked different, yet familiar. Nostalgic. The same streets she'd walk, some of the same houses, the same views.... Yet, her house was different. It was abandoned, emptied out, and overrun by bramble and ivy.

Unsure of how to feel, pleagued with mixed emotions of resentment, loneliness and sorrow, Thistle stuck around what she knew ot be her old bedroom. She had only just gotten back from Arcadia, and it seemed as though time had gone on by without her, and she was but a fleeting memory in some person's mind. While she wallowed in these thoughts, it did not take long for sentries of the Spring Court to arrive and fetch her, giving her the new life she now has. Through the local Freehold, she has come to be a part of the Great Wyrm Society, offering her services to help in whichever way she can.
