Personality: May seem a bit cold when you first meet him as he does not warm up to people very easily; he is very sweet though, just does not often show it. Very thoughtful, likes to wonder about life.

More info: He does not like talking about his past and is rather quiet all the time. He is very afraid of earthquakes and starts shivering and freezes to place whenever he hears a big low grumble or feels the ground shake.
He loves walking and wondering about, seeing the world and it’s wonders. He is sort of a nightowl and enjoys staying up at night to watch the stars. His favourite food is eggs and potatoes with fish. He does not like to touch people with his hands very much. He is fine with cuddles though and enjoys sleeping in a pile with his friends (Cuddle pile hue). Often trips over his long scarf. 

He lives in a box of a house. It is small and cosy, with not many furniture items. There are two windows, his bed is up near the ceiling and the front door to his house is a little rounded. There is a little rug in the middle of the house.

Backstory: Matto comes from a far-away land. His old village grumbled after an earthquake and not many mocchin of his village were left alive after the disaster. He decided to leave as he wanted to see the world.
 He set off walking, and he walked and walked, for many moons, until he came across a larger community of Mocchin where he decided to stay for a bit to rest. He had arrived in during the Love Dance spring event and was sort of dragged in to participate. During the event he swapped masks with Teppich and Tapis whom he befriended during his stay and eventually they decided to create their own village; Floor.
Soon other Mocchin joined their community and now they have a peaceful neighbourhood.
