The scavengers. Has a relativly friendly relationship with them, trades things alot- Exploring new regions, will spend most cycle travelling through regions after regions to gather data for BE
- BE, the iterator that created Messenger in the first place. Will go and visit her every now and then
Dislikes
Lizards, more specifically the yellow and the pink one.- Wasting cycles doing nothing, camping in one region for too long.
- Hostile creatures that BE created, makes it harder to get to her.
The Messenger is adventurous, he likes to travel through regions to find new exciting things (and dangerous things) to see and feel. He isn't afraid to die, since he will come back the next cycle. He will try to experience everything like how a baby put everything inside their mouth, to learn what is good and what is dangerous. While he doesn't mind dying again and again, he do mind wasting cycles being unproductive. He is faster than average slugcat, to traverse faster through the terrain. They are friendly or atleast neutral toward other creatures, will try to run away from predators if not nessesary to fight, and trades with scavengers.
Tends to stick with the scavenger clan, where the Messenger could trade weapons or travel with his scavenger friends so that he could be much safer. He is quite smart, using everything in his inventory to get through any kind of danger that blocks his path.
Abilities
Ability: Able to store more pearls, while survivor can only store one object, the Messenger can store up to five pearls, makes it easier to deliver messages.- Ability: Hold two spears like hunter, one in hand and one on his back.
- Ability: Not really an ability, just more acrobatic and faster than usual slugcats
Design
Design Notes
Slightly blue tint in the eyes- Appearance is almost identical to survivor, but a little more slender
- Always wears a blue bangana, which wasmade using BE's scarf
- Tail has slightly yellow gradient
Relationships
The Messenger appreciates his effoort for trying to protect them and get food for them, but doesn't like that he always fights and work alone, and doesn't wait for the rest of the team to catch up to him. When Messenger tries to tell him to slow down a bit, he never listens. Therefore he feels a bit frustrated about it.
Messenger cares alot for Lucian, and perfers to be with them than Defender or Tamer, since their personality is much more tolerable. It is usually the Messenger that helps him when Lucian get stuck in a large hole or can't climb a wall, since the other two is fighting to be in the front. Messenger doesn't mind helping Lucian, because they could protect him by stunning and blinding predetors.
The Messenger and Tamer are buddies, though they argue alot with what to do and where to go, they will try to help eachother it one was in danger. Tamer would be friendly to Messenger except when it is time for him to catch prey, then he would be very aggresive to him.
His creator.
History
The Messenger, was an experiment created by Beyond Exterior, an iterator. The main purpose of his creation was so that he could carry more things inside his stomach, so it will be easier to carry data pearls to other iterators and such. Other than that, BE didn't change alot, the appearance is near identicle to normal white slugcat.
He loves BE, often visiting her, when he is done exploring a part of a region. BE gave him a bandana so that she could distinguish between normal slugcats and Messenger, by ripping part of her long blue scarf.
His role
The Messenger is usually sentout to patrol the nearby regions, but will sometimes go farther than that to find interesting things for BE, like karma flowers, spears, blue fruit, etc. But she will also send Messenger on a quest to deliver pearls to other iterators.
Messenger does have the mark of communication, so he fully understands what those iterators have to say. Though it can't speak, and so it tries to communicate using body language and such.

Other than the data pearls BE gave to him, Messenger likes collecting those shiny pearls so that he could give them to the scavengers- He eats mostly bugs, like centipedes and batflies and dropwigs maybe
- He is the leader(kind of) when he and the other three slugcats were put into a team. Though most often times, his teammates will do whatever they want without even listening to him.
