A being of divine origin, Fritillarian serves to keep peace between the living and the restless dead. Though he appears for all intents and purposes to be Undead himself, he cannot truly be considered such, as he has never previously been ‘alive’.

Although he has long-since given up on counting the years, he has existed for at least 900 years, and has travelled the far reaches of the land. As such, he is sometimes referenced in literature and song, gaining the epithet “The Wanderer With Bones Of Ebony” or sometimes simply “The Black-boned Wanderer”. It is unclear where exactly these titles first originated, but they please him and so he has never seen reason to discourage them.
