Maliketh is very possessive, feeling the need to collect everything he can- from rocks, artifacts, bottles, shells, and more. Despite this obsessive nature, Maliketh can be very shy and reserved- usually thinking about things logically and sticking to strict plans (though having a tantrum when said plans aren't fulfilled properly). When it comes to behavior, he isn't entirely the most well-rounded- shutting down completely when things don't go his way. These habits come from not having much knowledgable on human behavior and social normalities, since he wasn't in an environment as a child that teached him the correct conventions. So, he shows difficulties with interpreting both verbal and non-verbal forms of language/communication which causes those around him to see him as very "odd" or "out-of-touch" and being somewhat non-verbal and slow in terms of speech.
Maliketh was a part of the many children who would get dumped into the abyss directly from Orth by an unknown group of delvers/scientists who paid and enjoyed experimenting on human children for the sake of scientific gain. Being treated like cattle to slaughter and being hounded in dark rooms alone and left to your own thoughts until you were needed for another experiment. Being a very young child during these events, this left Maliketh with irreversible damage to his developmental growth and social skills. Though Maliketh may not remember much about those days, he often gets small and random reminders about specific events- especially the ritual he undured in order to be blessed by the abyss, losing a very close caregiver in the process. In the end, there were many who lost their lives and very few were blessed by the abyss after such expiriments were done, but Maliketh was "lucky" in his process and able to escape such a life. After a few years of confusion, grief, and trying to fit in, he travelled through the Abyss' many layers until finding a comfortable spot in layer 4. This is where Maliketh would set up a place he could finally call home, especially since the layer was just close enough to Orth and the delvers social systems- being able to frequently visit and observe their way of life. Maliketh carries a rare relic named "Fruitful Orb", known to empower one's physical abilities, heal injuries, but can't cure diseases. It's even rumored this artifact can cause revival after death but at the cost of ones free will. Maliketh had originally heard of this relic through a rumor that said it could "revive someone after death", which greatly interested him. It took over 2 years for Maliketh to finally obtain such a relic and to even comprehend what it was used for, having to barter and steal for the information on it and access to it. This led Maliketh to also learn the relic did much more than "revival", but was disappointed to find out the negative side of said revival and was unsure how safe it was- only using the relic for it's other two qualities. Having a relic that can heal injuries has left Maliketh to be somewhat careless about his own well-being, knowing he can make few mistakes without the conequnces. Maliketh had even started a hobby of documenting every known species of flora and the many inhabitants of the 4th layer, tending to become quite obsessive and talkative when talking about the subject. This is one of the few hobbies Maliketh has great interest and knowledge in, even being able to sell the information he collected and drew. Eventually though, Maliketh would meet a new robotic "human" and soon become very close with him. The two would share the rest of their life with one another, experiencing everything new to come in tandem.
NULL is a robotic being, resembling that of a young man with white hair and light grey eyes, average height, and he can usually be seen with Kieran(Maliketh). The two are almost inseparable, rarely being seen without one another. Null is the main strength of the duo, not usually being the well-educated of the two but carries his weight(and Keiran's) when he's needed to. He's extremely loyal to Kieran, willing to do whatever is needed to keep the two alive and to continue living comfortably. Kiren however, is extremely obssesive with Null- getting upset when anyone else tries to involve themselves between them. In Kieran's eyes, there should never be a world where Null isn't his and he's not Null's. This behavior has led Kieran to be physically glued to Null, usually seen attached to Null's head, arm, leg, back, or anything that Kieran can get ahold of. Null greatly enjoys this type of behavior, especially when he can smell marzipan and feel the comfiness of Kieran's fluff. He's just happy to be around ^_^
