Nekei

Nekei is very quiet and likes to keep it that way in hopes that it‘ll cause less trouble for him. He does talk every once in a while, but mostly with Cody and maybe sometimes Wreivr as he’s closest with them.

He likes to spend his time walking around the edge of the beach, and admire the beautiful waters and the way the sun drenches it in a gorgeous shade of red.

After losing everyone he knew, Nekei was taken in by some folks who fed and clothes him. He quickly realized though that they only had interest in him due to the color of his pupils being lighter than normal, which was mistaken as the white pupils that legends have.

Nekei tried to tell them he wasn’t a legend, but very quickly stopped trying and just did as he was told in hopes of making it easier for him. He never tried to escape, especially not after seeing other test subjects around him fail multiple times.

His time at the lab fortunately did not last too long, as one day there was an explosion that destroyed it and the people working on it. Nekei suspected it was his cellmate who caused it. During the last few days of his time at the lab, she would speak to him every so often. He always found her odd, especially the way she acted when the explosion happened. She did help him and a few other test subjects find an escape route though, but never saw her since.

Nekei found himself in Koreef Village, where he was able to get a bit of help. He grew even more distant to people though, and was even more quiet than ever. Here in this village is where he met Cody, who excitedly introduced himself and tried to talk to Nekei. After many time has passed, they eventually grew to be best friends.
