She witnessed her younger twin sisters getting brutally killed by accidentally startling a family of hippogriffs. Her parents did not handle it well and sent her off to boarding school. When she was home she was anxious and lonely, feeling nothing but coldness from her indifferent parents and aging grandmother. When she was at school she threw herself into her studies and magic. She eventually graduated top of her class, moved off to a magic college, and got therapy. While she still struggles with feelings of inadequacy and the trauma of seeing her sisters killed she is in a much better headspace. After graduating college with a major in healing and a minor in art she moves to a small, magical town where she lives in a modest cabin she was able to by with inheritance from her grandmother. She doesn't know much about modern technology so she makes money by charging a small price for her healing abilities and potion making. She also sells prints she drew of the local plants and animals in her favorite coffee shop (does not do much.)
