Angus

• Always wears his glasses (except for in bed)
• Usually keeps hair up in ponytail, but occassionally has it down when relaxing
• Loves wearing summery clothes, hawaiian shirts
• Wears sandals almost always

Angus comes from quite a talented family that lived in a smaller city outside of Inkopolis. His parents were scholars, and his grandparents acheived even greater feats. This inspired Angus greatly to do his best in school. Back in his early years, his parents often encouraged him to follow whatever path felt right to him in school; did he want to be a teacher? An austronaut? A scientist? Whatever path the inkling chose, his parents were right behind him. Angus grew up with his two brothers, and although he was the youngest of the three, he was also the smartest. He often helped his brothers with their assignments. There was a bit of jealousy among the brothers over Angus' intelligence, but the boys were mature, and their parents shut it down quickly before it turned into a bigger issue. The siblings supported one another throughout their school years. Angus is still very thankful for their guidance and help, as without it, he would've struggled through school.

Once Angus graduated, he was sure that he wanted to become a data scientist--or something to do with data, anyway, as it is what his father studied. He entered a university head-on, letting his motivation and excitement guide him. However, he didn't realize that he wasn't entirely ready for this... He did well in the firts few years, but eventually classes got more difficult, and he found himself questioning whether he really wanted this as his future career. Was he really even interested in this subject? Did he want to do this for the rest of his life? The inkling was worried that he'd wasted a lot of important time on something he didn't even want anymore. He looked to his brothers, asking them for advice, and they explained to him that he needed to go with whatever felt right in his heart, and not his mind. He thought and thought, until he realized the answer had been in front of him the entire time: gardening! He had been gardening ever since he was a child, and never lost the passion for it. He must have only looked into data management in order to impress his parents... He worked with his family to switch courses, and so, he begun studying what he really loved.

After lots of hard work, Angus has ended up where he is today, in the big city of Inkopolis! He's very happy with where he's ended up, often stopping in the middle of planting to think about how unhappy he'd be as a data scientist. He loves the outdoors... that job would've drained him. during his time working at the Kelp Dome, he met Min, his girlfriend! He met her as she was going around with her crew, taking pictures of the plants in the dome for a portfolio, and the two got along right away. The two live together now, happy as ever, and he couldn't imagine his life being any other way.
