Ada is regarded as a very kind person. She takes a real interest at Court and does what she can to make her people's life better. She is plesent to be around and is not afraid of letting loose a little. She enjoys the thought of a little adventure and is not worried about getting her hands dirty.

She can be a little strong-wllled at times and a little commanding when necessary. She has extrodinary patience and is good at stopping her husband from becoming too extreme in his antics.

History

Ada is the daugther of Virgil Selwyn, a wealthy man who owns a large estate just outside of Dawn and is responsible for a good portion of their food. She was brought up between her home and Dawn for most of her life and enjoyed spending time at the Courts and parties where she made a lot of friends. Her father also took the time to train her in the art of combat and she is quite skilled.

Because of her status she is included in the list of women Evander felt would be a good match for his son. She had never met the Prince but was aware of his reputation; the good and the bad. She didn't think she would be chosen as some of the other women came from more prominant families; many of which had been working for years to be wed to the Prince.

She finally met Silas at a ball that was held so he could meet his suitors. She was the last one he spoke to and the one he spent most of the evening with. They got a long very well having shared interests in parties and wine. They even discussed swords and other weapons as she and her father had a sizable collection. She thought he was funny and very sweet.

Ada was surprised to find that Silas had picked her to become his wife; not as surprised as his other suitors who were beyond devestated at not being chosen and were quite rude to her afterwards. Her father was very happy for her and hoped that she would have a wonderful life. She did not know how to be a princess or a queen, but Silas never seemed bothered by that fact and wanted her to be herself.

They were married and eventurally they did fall in love with each other. Their marriage was never boring; they had many ups and downs but they were happy. They had one son together which only strengthened the bond that they had.

Ada also gets along with Ryley and Tobias quite well. She was very excited when they became apart of their family through her son's marriage to their daugther. She adores Davanee and her grandson.

During the Atwall incursion, she is kidnapped and presummed dead.
