Lumiere was made by otto, and was given to nugget as a way to get nugget off ottos back, it didnt last long but otto was proud of lumiere despite shannon unaware he made him. He pays for most of nuggets stuff with an allowance he is given by otto out of his paychecks. The two are dating and even if he cant feel emotions he cares for nugget deeply. He was the first one otto made outside of shannons help and was just a step towards ottos future goals. Sometime in the future lumieres parts were given to reiko and put amongst ottos stuff after nugget passed. later a "Lumiere 2.0" is made but its not the same as the first iteration because he was made by kuro trying to make sense of his dads notes
