Cache is a coyote-dog hybrid, who can often be found roaming the untamed deserts, plains, and mountains of the North American West. Lithe and agile, Cache has no issue traversing a wide variety of landscapes, drawn to travel and explore the wilderness, following whereever the spirit guides him.

Drawing/Coloring Notes

Cashe's markings are mostly symmetrical, with the exception of his legs/feet, and the flecks of darker color near his eyes. When art of him includes color, the tones should generally be more muted, rather than bright/loud/neon. If scenery elements are included, they should generally match wild areas found throughout North America, though ranches and similar settings are also appropriate.

Always feeling a strong sense of wanderlust, Cache feels the call of the wild in his veins. The offspring of a coyote and a domesticated dog, Cache has always felt a stronger connection to his wild roots. He is untamed, full of a spirit of the wilderness that cannot be snuffed out, but Cache is far from a wild, boisterous creature. As long as he is not captured and prevented from moving on when the spirit calls, he is an easily contented sort. Peaceful, serene, unbothered... Most of life's frustrations and woes wash over Cache and are easily forgotten after some time alone in nature.

Because he has a habit of blowing in and out of a place like the breeze, coming and going as he pleases, Cache has adjusted well to a life of relative solitude. He will occasionally seek out the companionship of other wandering souls whenever he feels the need, and tends to get along best with those who are also content to live in the moment. Cache can be playful when the mood strikes, perhaps even a slight bit mischevious, but he is also very happy to spend time in companionable silence, relaxing and enjoying the view with a friend.

Partly because he is not likely to stick around long enough to make it worth engaging in or worrying over conflict, and partly because it's just his personality to be so, Cache is not easily provoked. He tends to ignore most slights and often chooses to answer challenges or offenses by walking away rather than engaging. That said, he will never tuck tail and run when directly threatened, but it takes a good amount to get a real rise out of him.
