it's an acronym, it stands for "not first-come first-serve"! It basically just means even if you ask first you aren't guaranteed to get the adopt/freeb/whatever ^^

it's based on "fcfs", which means "first-come first-serve" which is the opposite of what i said above! it means the first person to ask for them gets them
