Brendan is a very timid boy who's more in tune with Pokémon and nature than he is with people. You'll often find him in the bushes, covered in dirt and playing with wild Pokémon. Always mumbles his words on the rare occasions he wants to speak to people. 

Story

Brendan was born in Sinnoh, but moved to Galar with his parents when he was 3. There he became friends with air-head Lucien and had a peaceful childhood until his family decided to move back to Sinnoh when he was 10 years old. With nothing better to do, he decided to go with what the other cool kids were doing and started a Pokémon journey. It went quite alright at first! He earned a single badge! But then that night he was awoken by a glowing ethereal being... and before he knew it, he found himself laying on the dirt, found by a professor with a really outdated fashion choice. He'd been brought to the past! With nowhere else to go, Brendan joined the Galaxy Expedition Team and hopes to find a way back home someday... but in many ways, he's quite content in Hisui too.
