Background story:
 His past studies included a study into the relationship between the types of common pets and demons species, and demon flight. Once a scholar with high morals, coming from simple beginning to Tenebris, he always had strong beliefs in staying rather neutral faction wise in order to evenly distribute knowledge for the growth of all races, even strongly wanting for Ignis to grow as a civilization. Unfortunately, his open-minded towards...'experiences'--truly believing that some things had to be experienced in order to make fair judgments about them, led to his downfall.
 Brought on to help with experimenting with natural mana, and mana based consumables...initially, him and his team were fairly slow going but making good progress in the field. But sure enough, progress began to slow as team members disappeared. And then, when it was just him...progress jumped by leaps and bounds, though very obviously, whole mana samples were gone, and the scholar was very obviously some form of addict.
 And yet, when anyone questions the legitimacy of his studies, of this now twitchy scholar...they disappear. But with the progress he had contributed, why question? He never moved on to other studies.
