Spencer

Personality: Spencer has a very inquisitive and quirky nature. It is due to his background that his curiosity is so strong. Having had limited exposure to the outside world, Spencer has only known about either things he'd come across in his 'enclosure' or what he had been told about. Being that he has bat DNA in his genetic make-up he has picked up a couple of traits from his animal brethren. He spends the duration of his time awake at night, but does occasionally become active during the day. Oddly enough he has a habit of hanging upside down and has even been known to fall asleep in such a manner ( though typically this results in a tumble to the floor as his muscles relax ).

History (brief ) :  Spencer  was created as a result of genetic testing. His biological name had been Marcus Redwood and had been born into a middle class family. He'd spent most of his life prior to the experiment much like any other human being, but it was on his 10th birthday that tragedy struck. His family had been involved in a car accident where a tractor trailer slammed into the vehicle killing all except him who suffered a severe blow to the head. With no family to take legal rights to act on his behalf the boy remained in a coma, thought to be mostly brain dead except for the most basic of activity. The doctors felt the best idea was to take him off of life support since it was believed that he would be unlikely to awaken much less have any normal functionality or even memories.

This was all set to happen but when doctors returned to do so they found that the room was vacant. A scientist posing as a nurse had been attending to the young male and decided that despite what the doctors had said about his condition that he could use the boy as his test subject in a experiment to fuse animal and human DNA.

Upon arriving at the man's lab the still unconscious boy was prepped, given several examinations and shots before being placed into a large chamber, several IV's hooked up to machines with unknown contents placed into his body. After a series of electrodes were placed on the chamber was shut with an air tight seal and a thick green liquid poured into it, filling it completely.

This chamber would be Spencer's place of rebirth. Over the course of five years the boy's body not only underwent normal growth but in addition other changes happened as well. Slowly non-human features began to show up, this was comprised of a pair of dark black wings and a pair of large bat ears upon head.

It was in the first half of the 6th year in the chamber that the previously comatose figure opened his eyes for the first time since the accident. From that day forwards what had once been Marcus changed into what was now Spencer.

 

 Notes about appearance:   

Even though you cannot see them in the reference picture, his eyes are a golden honey color ( see picture above).

His build is slender and on the shorter side

He does not have human ears, only the bat ears upon his head.
