About

Huehue is a werewoof created in a lab found in the middle of the desert. She's a crafty creature who shifted her way out of the facility and into the open world never looking back. She's rather elusive and is known for playing tricks when she has "nothing better to do." Which is unfortunately often. She likes to explore the world to see what's going on and to keep herself occupied. She has no desire to ever turn back human and rather enjoys her abilities.

Being Myth class makes Huehue valuable so it's not uncommon to see people try to capture her to resell to labs or to study her further but she's had enough of that kind of life. Huehue is not especially dangerous she has been known to scare of many people with her shifting abilities. No one has ever really had an opinion on what she's like when she's cornered though then again some HAVE gone missing while searching for her. Her true name and hometown is overall unknown. Even the lab seems to have been swallowed up in the desert...

Personality

Despite her overall cockiness and arrogance, Huehue prides herself on trying to remain private and "elusively mysterious." Which is really just an excuse since she doesn't have very many friends. She's good natured and has always had a spirit for playing tricks and pranks on people. Despite this she's very suspicious of new people and tends to try and remain so over the top friendly to try and get a good look at what the other person is really like.

To those Huehue manages to know and grow acquainted to very well she's friendly and very hands on. She likes to snuggle up and be near people which is almost the polar opposite of how she initially presents herself. When she grows upset with people she tends to shift into things like bricks or rocks because she doesn't want to talk to people the only way you can tell it's her is by the colors or her hair tuft she often leaves unchanged. She largely believes she's to beautiful to simply become 100 percent something else so is often doing "imperfect" shiftings where her markings, hair, or other identifying features are present. Think of it as a quirk if you will.

Backstory

Huehue was born to a small town in a small country. She had parents and many siblings that she'd often romp around and play with. Her childhood was relatively normal however Huehue was a bit of a "problem" child. You could find her constantly fighting, pranking, tricking, and being a general nuisance to the community. When her parents fell on hard times and didn't have enough income or food to care for their family Huehue was the first choice to get rid of (even before the dogs and cat). So they took her to a man who was known for paying a nice price for people to sell her. She was promptly sold and evaluated for the human trafficking market rather than becoming a sort of slave she was enrolled in a werewoof program and promptly shipped off.

During her stay at the facility Huehue not only became a successful werewoof but one categorized as "myth class." This particular facility felt that woofs were more like pets and livestock than actual people so spent most of their time feeding and studying her. Huehue didn't She receive a large amount of education but was always rather quick to learn and would steal books and read them on her own time when the scientists weren't poking and prodding her. Huehue liked staying at the facility to get a good handle on her abilities by the time she was almost a full-grown adult she decided she was ready to leave.

Huehue spent about 1 month a runaway inside the actual facility itself disguised as a coffee cup in the very back of the pantry on the very top shelf in the employee pantry room. She lived off of forgotten food in the fridges (and actually caused a company meeting about not eating food that isn't theirs) and when she felt they had lowered their guards once more slipped out as a mouse. Once free she traveled across the desert almost dying of dehydration and starvation until she came across an abandoned town. While there she found a well that thankfully had water and a healthy colony of lizards to eat. Once she gained her strength she packed up some lizard-jerky and a jug of water and took off. She finally found a town and from there got out of that area and into the real world. Since then the laboratory has been unsuccessful in reclaiming her.

Story Summary

Huehue's story revolves around her figuring out exactly what she wants out of life. Does she want to fight for werewoof rights? Does she just want to shift herself to look like a normal human and work normally hiding her true self? Does she just want to forever play pranks and tricks on people? Does she want to find love? She really has no direction or drive.

Since Huehue was forcibly removed and so easily discarded from her family she’s not keen on going back and she’s not sure where she belongs going forward. So she so far spends her time wandering around the world to see what she likes or doesn’t.

As time goes on Huehue will eventually go to some dark places as her anger towards her old laboratory and the people constantly hounding her grows. Eventually, she will start to make use of her stone bat she so enjoys to carry around. It is at this time that she will be hunted publically and privately getting herself into some trouble and forcing her to look for some time of retreat….
