Ayla is a twenty two year old akademiya student who's working hard on replacing her father's place as the chief officer of the forest rangers to get the stress off his shoulders. When she isn't working or studying she tends to still stay in the forest as it's her second happiest place, her first being with her family. She's never alone either, her husband following faithfully behind her whereever she goes.

Ayla was born and raised in Mondstadt to two parents who didn't care much for their children. To escape from them for a few hours a day Ayla would go to school and go home with her friends to play before she went home to her own home. With Cyno's job taking him plenty of places he spotted Ayla and her situation, spending months with Tighnari to prepare to adopt her.

After Tighnari and Cyno adopted Ayla they had gotten Collei soon after which made both young girls settle in much faster. With Cyno out of their home most of the time Tighnari became their father and teacher before applying Ayla to the Akademiya to continue her education once she was comfortable enough in Sumeru. As a side job Ayla would start training hard to become a forest watcher to help take the stress off of Tighnari. Kaveh, even in a different Darshan, quickly took notice of Ayla and befriended her and eventually Alhaitham. It was until later Kaveh realized this was the girl Tighnari and Cyno had adopted.

Ayla is currently married to a kitsune she found and rescued in the forest of Sumeru. She travels often in her free time to other countries with her husband, especially Inazuma since that's where her husband is from. She also babysits her three younger siblings when she's home and still works hard to make sure she's ready enough to take on her father's position as chief officer Forest Ranger.
