born outside of the clans, crabsurge was found in coralclan's territory clutching a crab claw to his chest. he was brought in to be nursed by crickethop and it was soon discovered that he was hard of hearing. as he grew, he became close with a deaf she-cat named sealsplash. he went through two different mentors until he was finally made into a warrior.

crabsurge is very blunt and doesn't think twice about what comes out of his mouth. this often leads to making enemies but he always means well. crab likes to live by the "honesty is the best policy" kind of lifestyle. he is actually rather open-minded and flexible if you stick around long enough. if you test his patience, he will become arrogant and impulsive.
