Captain Preston Apollo

Apollo is a freelance starship pilot from another galaxy, making a name and fortune for himself in the Milky Way. 
He flies the LEV Rustrunner, a Remora-class supply ship retrofitted for exploring distant stars. To keep his expenses afloat 
he takes contracts for all sorts of jobs, whether they be surveying planets, hauling cargo or dabbling in black market trade- 
whatever's "enjoyable" and pays the bills. Most importantly however he seeks to broaden his horizons, make new friends 
and have the courage to face a new day in a new world.

==[ Appearance ]==
+ Milk-tea colored fur, orange fluffy hair, and a white neck, tummy, fingers and tail-tip
+ Black visor with blue lights (can open, but he chooses to keep it closed when he talks)
+ Grey shoulder, chest and thigh plating with darker grey accents
+ Plantigrade legs, large black paws with yellow accents that look like boots, and golden pawpads
+ Puffy fox-like tail with a white tail tip
+ Wears a captain's hat with a LEMI logo, a white and orange uniform and (actual) boots

==[ Likes & Dislikes ]==
+ Likes cold weather, snow, drinks, and anything else wintery
+ Enjoys cooking and eating! His tastes range from bland ration bars and hearty soups to sweeter & more
   exquisite treats like bubble tea and cheesecake. Will chug sparking water if given the opportunity.
+ Admires space and all the planets, stars, neublae and other wonders it provides. Takes spacewalks if he
   has nothing better to do.
+ Hugs and cuddles! Especially with his boyfriend

- Dislikes hot and humid climates- anything above 80F is quite uncomfortable for him
- Fears the depths (and sometimes the dark)
- Absolutely hates getting his uniform dirty

==[ Personality ]==
Apollo tries his best to be a stoic, dignified captain in front of his crew and superiors, but prefers to be casual with
those he trusts. He's not too sociable either, oftentimes coming off as shy or awkward- and usually feels like he's left
out of the conversation. Although forgetful, he does try his darndest to be nice to the people around him, and often does
so through offering to help with tasks. Most of all, he wants to be a shoulder to lean on, a friend to hug with, an advisor with
the right advice- because he wants to share the same opportunity to be cared for like he has.

==[ Addendum ]==
If it wasn't already evident with my username, Apollo is my fursona. I created him sometime around December of 2019,
and he's an idealized version of me, perks, flaws and all. I hoped to make him interesting, unique, cute, pretty damn cool-
and honestly, I think I did a fine job of it! He encouraged me to pick up art again, starting from the margins of my notebooks
to my laptop (which I had to use my trackpad for at first); and as my skill and style changed, so did he. He's taken by my bf's
'sona who's also a proto, and I'm working on making a universe for them to live in- the Helios Project. All in all, Apollo was a
big help in getting me to where I am today, and I'm super glad I joined the fandom and created him.
