It's been a tough ride for him and he struggles with it everyday.
Angus was born to two relatively high-up members of the community. His mother was a very strong-willed and fiery woman, whereas his father was a lot kinder. They balanced each other out nicely and made decent parents, though he naturally preferred his father more. He grew up around all sorts of animals and work, always being as curious and playful as can be to learn about the world he was in. For a while, he didn’t know that walkers existed at all, but eventually, around seven years old, his parents sat him down and told him about them. He didn’t quite understand, but he took their word that It was dangerous business.
The more years went by, the more the town grew and got better, and the more they went ‘back to society’ as the older people put it. However, he could tell that his parents were stressed, his father more than anything. Around when he was 14, his mother was ‘busy’ as she put it, and his father had just come back from a ‘short journey’ as he put it, but he seemed to be sweating a lot. It turns out he got bit, and Angus, the only person around, had to kill him when he turned. He became a lot quieter after that and wasn’t ever really the same or all that curious about things.
As the years went on, he became more emotionally unavailable and continued working with animals and participating in the community. He never really wanted to have a high ‘rank’ or significance like his parents had; he just wanted to help a little and still have time to himself. He got proper and more accurate training and a job as a border checker and then a scavenger. He knows what he’s doing to an extent, though it’s obvious that sometimes he still fumbles.

- He tends to wear a lot of coats to make himself look biggger and to add more layers to help avoid bites.
- Almost always has his beanie on.
- He doesn't tend to like buying new clothes, so if things get broken he'll often just fix it by patching it up.

He's difficult to get along with and even harder to stay friends with.
Angus is known to be a tough person to get along with. He’s always been quiet and reserved, even as a kid; though no one could blame a kid for being that way in a world like this, he continued to be like this even in his adult years. He’s quick-witted, snappy, short-tempered and a little blunt. He doesn’t like spending time with others, even though he puts up with it. He’s not stupid and keeps people close, but he struggles to open up. All in all, he really would prefer to sleep in and not ever wake up.
personality
He's known him for a little while now, and whilst they are work colleagues, they're also best friends.
After the death of his father and his intensely poor treatment a majority of his childhood and current life, they don't get on, and Angus certainly wouldn't cry if she died tomorrow.
