Maybelle is initially snarky and incisive, and her siblings tell people that this is why it is best that she is the member of the family who is least often in the public eye! It is, however, more the case that Maybelle feels shy and uncertain about herself, thus leading her to behave rudely as a protective mechanism. Beneath this layer yet again, Maybelle is loyal, smart as a whip, and caring. She is certainly a complex person to get to know. Maybelle grew up in Los Angeles with few resources besides the love and support of her two triplet siblings. As it turned out, their love for one another was their vehicle to fame--Maybelle eventually published a fashion magazine featuring her model sister as photographed by her photographer brother, which propelled the family to stardom. Maybelle is still a bit taken aback by this turn of events. However, as time goes on, she is beginning to feel more and more comfortable with her family's good fortune.
Aimee is one of Maybelle's triplet siblings, and is probably the most outgoing of the trio. She is also the most willing to "stir the pot," and at times this gets on Maybelle's nerves! However, Aimee is also highly compassionate, patient, and willing to coax Maybelle out of her shell. Thus, in spite of their differences, Maybelle adores her.
Zeth is the second of Maybelle's triplet siblings. At times, the laid-back Zeth becomes concerned about Maybelle's demeanor, which he judges to be more uptight than necessary. Maybelle, for her part, similarly worries that Zeth is too trusting of others and too lackadaisical. Although there can be tension between the two, there is also great affection--Maybelle and Zeth really do care about one another.
