Elise is a young Poyhypnis dragon, a tropical species of dragons that gained anthropomorphic and human/shifter bloodlines after many years. She works as a hired gun and a general criminal. Due to her small stature, she is very quick and can fit into tight gaps. Her favourite method of "assassination" is dropping from a ceiling vent and stabbing her target with either a knife or her tail blade, much like a Xenomorph from the Alien series.
Elise grew up with her father and brother in the outskirts of a large city, without much money and with many enemies. Her mother had died not long after Elise’s birth, however her father didn’t blame her as she had been badly ill and was thought to not make it for very long. Her brother Ryptide (said like riptide, also known as Ryp) did blame her as he was very close with their mother, but soon grew close to his younger sibling. As they got older, they learnt how to fight using both weapons and their natural weapons (such as their bladed tails and natural poisonous and hypnotising abilities), though Elise had to figure out how to use hypnotism herself as neither her father nor brother had learned to use their measly hypnotism. female Poyhypnis dragons are more skilled in their hypnotism abilities while males are more skilled in poison
When Elise was 9, they lost their father when their home was caught in the crossfire of a gang battle. He was shot through the head and left to rot while Ryp took his sister deeper into the city. There they stayed for many years, but then Ryp left her alone at 15, saying that he knew somewhere where he could make money for them. In the last four years of her being on her own, she hasn’t seen any traces of him.
Elise is used in two universes - the King Of Crime universe (created by Dragonologist) and the Sanctuary universe.
In the Sanctuary universe she has a human form, which she rarely uses, and is a proxy of Dark Brink. Whenever she needs a place to stay, she stays at the house of Moon and Hudson, two other dragon anthro/shifters who work in the police force. Despite her being a criminal, they have a very tight pact that ensures the safety of all three of them - Elise doesn't go there right after a crime and make others aware of her presence, and Moon and Hudson won't bring her into the officials.
In the King Of Crime universe, she is part of Thorn's criminal circle, often partaking in heists and keeping patrons out of trouble on the casino floor. Here, Elise, Moon and Hudson do not know each other as well as they do in the Sanctuary universe, but they have a mutual understanding. Though, if they happen to catch her doing a crime, they won't hesitate to bring her in.
