Design Notes
- Ethel is a short, stocky cat, though her fur makes up a great deal of her size.
- Even death can't spare her from greying hairs
Accessories
- Leaves clutter her tail and ruff/mane; she uses them to disguise her scent.
Health
- Death has returned her to health.
- All that remains of her fatal wounds are thick, pink scars.
Small Science / Curses
- Small Science: Spire
- Curses: Missing claws

Though in recent times, Ethel is trying to take on a new outlook on life (or afterlife?), people dont change overnight. Sure, experiencing death can be rather life changing, but old habits die hard. A once open and affectionate cat, Ethel is struggling to return to that old self. She enjoys the company of others, though many years of solitude have done little for her social skills.
He can be quite sensitive despite his harsh demeanor, taking things personally and internalizing them. Though he owns up to it when he makes mistakes, he rarely learns not to make the same mistake again. When he is upset, he tends to catastrophize and implode, ruining his relationships in the process.
Strengths
- Crafty. Sure, she had aid. But Ethel did still have to practically learn to survive on her own from a young age; learning to be resourceful and quick thinking.
- Perceptive. Desc.
- Quick Learner. Desc.
Weaknesses
- Clawless. Revenge paid for in blood. There's a reason Ethel avoids fighting.
- Slow. Even when she was young, Ethel always tended to be slower on the uptake. Her body never seems to be able to keep up with her mind.
- Weakness. Desc.

Summary
- Born to a single mother, Vera, a Spire Practitioner. Learned small science from her.
- Her mother attempted to help a group of strangers who turned out to be witchhunters.
- Ethel swore herself to solitude, resentful towards both the witchhunters and her mother for abandoning her to follow her own slef-righteous ideals. She curses the witchhunters, losing her fangs & claws in the process.
- Used her connection with spirits to avoid contact with danger; including other cats. Came to depend heavily upon their aid.
- During a particularly bad a storm, a family managed to sneak into Ethel's den. She chased them off when she discovered this, turning a deaf ear towards the father's curses.
- Small science begins to disappear. Ethel is left exposed without her spirit aids. Terrified to even leave her den, she struggles to survive.
- On the brink of starvation, Ethel attempts to catch food, but is attacked by a coyote. Two strangers fend off the beast, but Ethel flees from their aid.
- Ethel succumbs to the infection that festers in her wounds.
History
For such a long life lived, there is so little to speak of it.
As a child, Ethel knew only her mother, and the loving ideals she preached since even before Ethel's birth. She spoke of generosity, self-sacrifice. Speak peace, not war. She was wonderful; there was no one Ethel adored more. They lived within a cut in a mountains; a passageway many often used to cross through. As a Spire, Ethel's mother Vera used the aid of spirits to help guide visitors through. She would go on to teach this to Ethel as well, who quickly took to the art.
But not every stranger they met was so peaceful. Ethel knew of the existence of witchhunters, and how her mother believed that they could ever talk to them. When a group of such cats eventually passed through, her mother's friendly gestures and pleas of diplomacy fell to deaf ears. They cut her down without a second thought, unaware Ethel had witnessed the whole thing.
"Take their claws so that they may never do harm again. Rot their fangs so that they may never speak harm again."
Hate poured into every word, mindless to what she was doing. The witchhunters would never be able to bring harm to another again... but neither would she. Still, it became obvious to Ethel during that time that her mother had been wrong. So terribly, and tragically wrong, and in pursuit of her own self-righteousness, had consequently abandoned her own child to face the world with no one else to guide her but wayward spirits.

Death
Cause of Death: Infected wounds.
Seaborn knew the end was coming. He wasn't ready to die. Is anyone?
He reacted poorly, as anyone might. He confessed his love to Snowborn and left their group, robbing him of the chance even to give a proper reply. Worse, he'd hidden his illness out of sheer pride, and he died alone for it.

It is a long established fact that a reader will be distracted by the readable content of a page when looking at its layout. The point of using Lorem Ipsum is that it has a more-or-less normal distribution of letters, as opposed to using 'Content here, content here', making it look like readable English. Many desktop publishing packages and web page editors now use Lorem Ipsum as their default model text, and a search for 'lorem ipsum' will uncover many web sites still in their infancy. Various versions have evolved over the years, sometimes by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).

Pre-RP
Snowborn was Seaborn's best friend from kithood, and the object of his affections for nearly as long.
Seaborn loved Snowborn more than perhaps anyone else, and he trusted him implicitly. He considered it a grave betrayal when Snowborn entered into a relationship with someone that wasn't him, despite having never voiced his feelings for him. Now that they're both dead, they exist in an awkward limbo, and Seaborn doesn't know where they stand.
Senia was one of several cats Seaborn came across when he was dying, and the kindest of them. She offered to try to heal him when she discovered he was dying, and he reacted poorly. He ran off and died soon after. With the clarity of new health, he hopes she's doing okay - witch or not.
