Before Kaido retired and left his role of creator, Ryou was his old former guardian! :00 Whenever Kaido retired, he decided to as well and follow alongside him.

He still keeps up his role as a guardian toward him! :0 But at times, he usually denies any foolish request Kaido would make,,
