Personality

Fergus spends too much time working and causes him to not pay attention to his hygiene causing his fur to be messy and long and his clothes to be tattered and dirty. He likes to spend time working inside of his workshop selling other mobians gadgets he creates using the materials and junk his partner finds on her time out of the shop. He's very cheerful and likes to do favors to other mobians that visit his shop and can cause him to pile up some of his work and he can tend to overwork himself and pass out on his workshop. When he's not working however he likes to spend time going out and strolling around lakes or woods.

Backstory

Wind blowing and kids playing outside on the forest near the town. A little skunk boy was hiding behind a tree and all of a sudden "Tag you're it!" another kid poked him and quickly ran away. Fergus stood there surprised but then ran following the kid so he could tag him back but before he could notice he had lost track of him. It started to get late and for some reason he couldn't find none of the other children and he was already getting annoyed cause of it. Then a boy passed by him running towards deeper towards forest, it caught Fergus off guard but then he realized the boy seemed visibly scared but before he could react he heard noises from the distance but couldn't focus on what it was exactly. He wanted to check up on the boy but realized he couldn't see him anymore as he already went deep towards the forest.

He decided to just give up on the game and go back to his home as it was getting late and the noises were already scaring him. But he was shocked at what he saw. The houses in the town were on fire as robots passed by tearing down houses. He saw a lot of bodies laying on the floor and got scared and worried. He wanted to go home but there was no way to go home with all that happening in front of him. He had to find another way, he needed to so he could make sure his parents were okay and safe. He started sneaking behind some houses to make his way, the smoke was making everything fuzzy and he could barely breathe. He kept going but it just got harder and harder, he was very close but suddenly a robot passed by and his heart dropped. It hadn't noticed him there but it gave him the scare of his life, he looked around making sure the coast was clear but the smoke was getting the best of him and he finally passed out.

He was shaken awake, as he slowly opened his eyes he saw a girl around his age covered in with dirt and her clothes were tattered. She sighed in relief. "I thought I was all alone, no one else will wake up..." she said as her eyes started to tear up and gave him a hug. He was a bit confused he didn't know the girl but he knows she has seen her around the town and school. He started to remember what happened before he passed out and slowly started to push her away. "I-I'm sorry but I have to find my parents..." he struggled to stand up he started walking towards the direction of his home. It was broken and burned down like the rest, now with fear across his body again he began to walk faster towards the houses and began to look through the rubble. He kept searching and searching and nothing, he walked towards where his room used to be but when he opened the door there they were but not how he wanted.

One of them was crushed under wood with their body covered in black, the other was in the corned motionless but as he looked at it he realized it was his mom. He rushed towards hers and dropped to the floor, he started shaking her, he began to cry more and more as he kept shaking her in hopes that she would wake up but she didn't. Tears quickly began running down his face realizing there was nothing he could do now, someone placed a hand on his shoulder and he looked back at the figure scared but quickly realized it was the girl from earlier. He looked away trying to hide his face. The girl still had tears in her face but sat down on the floor and hugged him from the back. Fergus started to cry even more but the girl kept trying her best to comfort him. Eventually they both managed to calm down although still shaken up.

They both left the town and took with them whatever was still salvageable and began to travel together. They got to know each other and quickly became the best of friends, although trying she tried to get over her past Fergus was really focused on finding out who was responsible for the attack. They both found another town pretty far from their home and decided to stay there for some time. The town didn't have any other children but had friendly adults that took care of them. They both started helping around the town for money so they could get food to maintain themselves and after some new clothes to get rid of their broken and dirty rags they wore. They began to help out and slowly but surely they had gotten enough and started using their spare amounts to buy objects for their next adventure. When they did they both gave their farewell to the townsfolks and both started walking off to see where they would end up next.
