Jackfruit is a hornetbee, the mythical offspring of a hornet and a bee. Like the rest of her kin, she is secretive and leaves the nest only when the bees and wasps are least active.

During the event's of Berry's story, Jackfruit is discovered by the curious bumblebee and her mantis friend, Blade. Although fearful at first, she eventually warms up to them and reveals the truth of her kin. Later, she provides aid to Berry and Blade on their search for a cure to Rotleaf, however chooses not to directly interfere, fearing the wrath of her father's spirit--whom she believes is behind the disease.
