Nicodemus

Nicodemus (Nico to friends, of which there are few) is a very reclusive creature. He lives in a small cabin in the forests around a mountain range and comes to town only once every five to ten years to collect things he can't make on his own. He's a bit of a cryptid to the local townsfolk, to be perfectly honest. After all, he's immortal - mothers have told stories about him to their children to ensure good behavior for a few generations now.

There's no trail that leads to his cabin; he's just very good a navigating the wilds, so he maintains his privacy. Nico just is content to live in the forest and doesn't feel the need for company. He has a couple of patches of wild-growing berries, and vegetables, that he maintains, and he hunts the forests around his property for game.

Every once in a blue moon however a hiker gets lost, or some children go adventuring - and he'll take them into his cabin, give them some food and water, trade some stories, then send them on their way.
