Profile
Persistent, determined, and maybe a little bit lost- their lost sense of hope grows as things grow worse.
Quiet as a mouse, the silent player traverses through LIMBO with an iron will to prevail, however they do not fight against the way of the world. Peacefully they overcome the obstacles and endure the hardships that they may slowly relearn of, and face new challenges. Machi is small, sight impaired, quiet, and rather weak, however they are clever and good hearted. Good will can bring someone so far.

Waking up in a house that feels like home, as the days pass- the enviornment itself appears to be warping in little ways. Progressively it becomes more and more noticeable, when it hits a point where Machi cannot ignore the changes and they are beginning to affect their quality of life, that is when they decide to opelnly go outside for a change. They were prone to watching from the inside out, not becoming involved but instead sitting by a the see-through garden door and sitting on the floor with a warm up of tea that didn't feel fufilling... It takes a while for them to be able to go outside. Against personal convictions and the house making it difficult- ie. dissapearing doorhandles, locks relocking, the planks physially pulling Machi away, doors sealing and becoming wall- they somehow escape. Trust them, they would have stayed inside, they really would have preferred to stay that way, in fact the oddities were entertaining, however when it came down to the apparent feeling of wrongness, they needed to go, immediately. It was one of those feelings that you cannot explain, so you had to trust your gut. It was childish, but they begun keeping leaving lights on for as long as they could stay on before they suddenly shuddered and flickered off, switches melting or dissapearing and reappearing, where there was darkness there was this figure that watched and wanted to reach. They had seen it before, only outside, however by whatever means it was indoors, and very much the atmosphere had changed since then. Machi had wished to co-exist however they could not ignore that feeling of fear. There was an instance where Machi had encountered the figure but thankfully got away, it only proved their gut feeling: it was malicious. The moment they escaped their home, the moment they had peered back, it was there, only watching as they pulled the doors closed and drew the blinds.
Soon enough, as Machi traverses the land and enters a shopping plaza, they meet a woman named Fayola, who appears to be having the same problem.

Honest and a little bit snarky, Sen is also the brawns of the team. He is- sight impared, horribly, so it is hard for him and Machi to comminicate as they are mute.If the barrier was not a thing these two would be a power team... however Jikai's secretiveness is... something.
Encountering Ashley on the train, he is someone that Machi finds comfort in. He is patient, polite, and keen of his suroundings. He looks out for Machi and keeps them company when they get overwhelmed. Even if they don't speak verbally, he can communicate through sign language.
Fayola friend
When Machi is unable to move forward, Fayola will bring them with her whether they like it or not, accidentally. She is the confidence- rather, spontaneous recklessness- that Machi does not have. They balance eachother out. Near polar opposites. Having met in the beginning, the two have had eachothers' backs and are comitted to stay by eachothers' sides.
Benny captor
Well, he killed their friends, will kill them, put them through a series of nightmares and almost pushed them too hard. Its hard to have a good feeling about Benny, however they grew to understand him in a sense and empathize with him through being lonely together. Of course Benny isn't morally okay, but they get him in his struggles and appreciated him when he was the train conductor. In those near deaths he protected them.
