Kuno just moved to St Agatha City from Germany to get a fresh start. They got themselves a job at the mall's phone store where they stare down rude customers, and spend their off days participating in illegal street fights.

They‘re perfectly civil and genuinely compassionate, but most people would at the very least describe Kuno as a "kind of intense" person. Despite the easy-going attitude they put on as to not immediately scare people off, they very obviously lack any sense of self-preservation and usually fail to suppress their bursts of manic energy, giving them a slightly feral and unhinged look.

As it's something they've dealt with all their life, they have a pretty good handle on it - as in, they don't spring these moods on unsuspecting people that aren't wired like them, or self-regulate via stimming - and let it out in relatively controlled environments, which is what originally led them to the Street Freaks. They'd like to think they're easy to get along with despite their erratic moods and enthusiastic (read: aggressive) approach.

They're naturally drawn to things and people that are a little (or a lot) gross, strange and/or fucked up, which reflects in their hobbies and friend groups. Their experiences with being othered a lot as a teen and adult (for being queer, fat, masc and autistic) lead to them relating most to the scene kids and weirdos, which is how they ended up befriending the Strays. A warning: If Kuno considers you a close friend they may resort to spontaneous biting as a sign of affection; these are not gentle nips, and they hurt.

Kuno is fat and built like a brickhouse, as they put all of their surplus energy (which is a lot) into fighting and exercising. They have grayish-blue eyes with an intense stare that commonly freak people out a little. Their pale skin is speckled with moles and they're a naturally hairy person, especially on the legs and stomach. Kuno has thick eyebrows, long eyelashes and always dyes the tips of their hair in vibrant colors.

Their clothes tend to be oversized, ripped up and washed-out. The coolness of this is a secondary effect; Kuno just needs to wear comfortable soft fabrics to make it through the day, and won't throw out clothes unless they become literally unwearable. They also love customizing their things, so they're belongings are covered in marker doodles, buttons and patches. Their pride and joy is a pair of jeans with a crudely sewn on fabric patch that drew a moth on with bleach.

Relationships

Even if Kuno is, by their own admission, a freak, they always do their best to respect other people's boundaries and are surprisingly self-aware when it comes to the impression they leave. This is unfortunately a trauma response from years of being "too much" and "clueless", feeling to big in any room they occupy. This now presents itself as a roadblock, not when forming friendships, but when it comes to maintaining them. They simply try their best to communicate openly to avoid misunderstandings and leave nobody in the dark, especially since they're not that good at social cues. Kuno has not seen their family in a few years, and while they don't mind talking about them, they're not gonna bring them up of their own volition.
