Muriel

Kamabo Co.'s astute secretary, Professor Muriel. She oversees Agent 8's progress through the Deepsea Metro under the guise that she is a simple assistant to CQ Cumber, despite her appearance. Not-so-secretly, she actually works to assist Commander Tartar in its plan to wipe out Inkopolis and its inhabitants. She despises most kinds of music heard in Inkopolis.

Muriel partially sanitized herself willingly, similar to Dedf1sh. She began experimenting on herself with sanitized ink shortly after she and Tartar became acquainted and she's found the line between total sanitization and a conscious brain.

She attempts to stop Agent 8 from reaching the surface after they have defeated the sanitized Agent 3, only to be struck down as well. Though she was determined to see Tartar's plan through to the end, she begrudgingly allows 8 to reach the surface, having no strength left to oppose them. Tartar makes a remark about her disloyalty during the final fight, even after she had risked herself for its plan countless times.

As of the events of Splatoon 3, her whereabouts are unknown. She is, however, alive.

The back of her tattered lab coat sports a bright red Kamabo Co. logo. Her hair is tied up with one of those little seaweed bits often seen on Elite Octoling Soldiers-- she used to be one herself.
She possesses an E-Liter 4K and is quite proficient with it.
