After waking from stasis, Mallace found herself in the same place as many dracthyr around her: confused, a little afraid, with raw feelings of sadness and anger pulling at her as more and more of those she cared for were found dead, or never found at all. Everything she had once known within and about the Broodlands was no longer, and everyone she had ever known was gone.
She's tried her best to move on and make the best of a terrible circumstance. Meeting strange new people was an unexpected distraction, and helping those around her as much as possible was something she found herself falling into very quickly. She's found herself pushing through the sadness and looking at things through a more positive lense; although things might have started badly, there's so many new opportunities that have opened up to her now. Being a soldier was not her only path. She could be whatever she wanted to be now.
